Integrity construction is an essential facet of the company's corporate culture. In order to pass on the traditional Chinese virtues and create an honest and upright holiday atmosphere, the Audit and Supervision Centre carried out an Integrity Construction Campaign before the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Led by the Integrity Liaison Officer, 32 organisations of Huayou held meetings to carry out PPT materials with the theme of “Spending the Mid-autumn Festival with integrity”, and a total of 320 propaganda sessions were carried out, covering 12,239 colleagues. All colleagues listened to Huayou's probity culture and learned more about the Code of Conduct for Business Ethics and other regulations. The leaders of each organisation made a summary statement so that everyone further understood the importance and necessity of spending the festive season with honesty.
The holiday season is a vulnerable period for self-discipline issues, in order to ensure a civilised and enjoyable holiday, the Audit and Supervision Centre issued the Integrity Letter to All Employees by email, attaching the penalties (excerpts) of the relevant regulations of Huayou to the letter, and also took this opportunity to notify the matter of the special account for integrity once again. In addition, with the joint effort of the Procurement centre an Open Letter to Partners on Integrity was sent to suppliers. The letters remind everyone to sound the alarm of integrity and self-discipline at all times.
Before the holiday, companies in Tongxiang, Quzhou, Guangxi, Tianjin, Chengdu, Nanjing, Beijing, Indonesia, and Zimbabwe put up posters to enhance the publicity effect and create a positive and upright atmosphere for the holiday. The theme of the posters highlights the concept of "all employees join hands to create a fair environment", reminding all employees to consciously resist improper interests and refuse to be corrupt while enjoying the holiday.
In addition to offline channels of publicity, the thematic post on Spend the Mid-Autumn Festival with integrity was simultaneously published on the Huayou Community platform. The integrity liaison officers of 32 organisations took the lead to leave comments under the post. Taking this opportunity, Huayou's colleagues talked about what they thought about integrity and enthusiastically replied to the post. Up to now, the number of readers of Huayou Community Mid-Autumn Theme Post reached 1313, and the number of likes was more than 400. Online and offline activities jointly strengthen the effect of integrity education and effectively enhance the anti-corruption awareness of Huayou’s colleagues.
The Mid-Autumn Festival integrity construction Campaign adheres to the principle of education first, and helps the company foster a sustained and vibrant atmosphere of integrity through the online and offline "integrity mandatory courses". All Huayou colleagues are encouraged to enhance the awareness of discipline and regulate the behaviour "beyond eight hours", as well as act in a fair and honest manner.
